Access courses are designed as a stepping stone to enable motivated, enthusiastic people to progress on to Higher Education. There is a very high level of academic and personal support throughout the course. This can help if you need to combine study with part time employment and family commitments.

Entry requirements
You will need Level 2 qualifications in Mathematics and English Language, and preferably Science.
Assessment
Expect to be assessed via a range of methods including essays, reports, presentations and lab experimentation.
Progression
Students can progress onto an Honours Degree, Higher National Diploma or a Foundation Degree in a range of science based disciplines that can be loosely grouped under the physical sciences - Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
