The program has a focus on the development of sustainability within the maritime sector allowing learners the opportunity to study a broad reach of marine industries with a focus upon the drive to develop environmental sustainability in meeting the challenges that are driving the pressures of global change upon the environment.

The industries of Cornwall have a focus on fishing and shipping; leisure and commerce, ports and harbours; rivers and estuaries; coastal defence and flood management.

With a broad and varied industrial history, our learners have the opportunity to undertake wide ranging field study and research within a major marine environment
