Celebrating Diversity at TCCG
Students and staff at The Cornwall College Group (TCCG) recently immersed themselves in a vibrant and action-packed week, marking a celebration of diversity as part of the college’s “Empower” programme.
The week provided a unique opportunity for both students and staff to engage in meaningful conversations, broaden their perspectives and collaboratively contribute to building an inclusive community.
Celebrations took place across all TCCG campuses, including Falmouth Marine School.
Dozens of engaging activities, talks and workshops were organised by different curriculum areas, to acknowledge the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) at college and in a workplace.
Students and staff participated in a wide array of activities; lessons in belly dancing, a delicious international food festival and ED&I themed art challenges are just some to mention.
The positive feedback highlighted the success of the “Empower” programme, to unite and embrace diversity and inclusivity at the College Group.
