Have you ever dreamed of building a Cornish Pilot Gig and learning the craft of boatbuilding, but never thought you'd have the chance? Our Introduction to Boatbuilding evening course offers a unique opportunity to dive into this fascinating trade.
Over 12 weeks, you'll begin with hands-on joinery at the workbench and progress to completing the fit-out of a 4-oar Cornish Pilot Gig, commissioned by the Cornish Pilot Gig Association. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this course will give you the skills and knowledge to understand the art of boatbuilding, step by step.
