1.1. Gatsby benchmarks will be reviewed three times a year using the Compass
evaluation tool and results will be shared with The Careers Enterprise Company.
1.2. The Careers & Enterprise Company Annual Checklist will be completed at the end
of each academic year to ensure statutory requirements are adhered to.
1.3. An action plan is implemented to ensure continued development in careers
education, information, advice and guidance based on statutory guidance and
good practice.
1.4. The implementation of the Careers Programme will be monitored and reviewed by
the Careers Coordinator who will identify areas of success and development.
1.5. Monitoring the programme will be achieved through the use of a careers
management platform (GROFAR) to capture records of engagement and
interaction. Curriculum based careers activity will be monitored through the
career’s platform. This will inform the Gatsby Benchmark reviews.
1.6. The Careers Coordinator will evaluate and report on the programme from a
student, employer and staff perspective using a range of evaluation methods
including evaluations and surveys following careers meetings and career related
workshops including employer related activities. Where appropriate the
information will be sourced from ‘Student Voice’ activity that regularly takes place
within the academic year.
