Across four stunning campuses, you’ll train with expert instructors, earn industry-recognised qualifications, and learn by doing—on water, land, and everything in between.
If you want to work on the water, this course is your launchpad. You’ll spend most of your time at Stithians Lake developing personal and coaching skills in sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding. You’ll also have the chance to gain recognised instructor qualifications like RYA and Paddleboard Coach, alongside modules in sports leadership, safety and health.
This course gets you straight into outdoor education. You’ll train in the field every week, developing your coaching and leadership skills through real-world adventure activities. Whether it’s canoeing the Fal River, navigating Dartmoor or climbing in Snowdonia, it’s all about building your confidence, skills and industry knowledge in the outdoors.
With a watersports lake, climbing tower and indoor bouldering wall right on campus, Bicton offers the perfect base to train. You’ll explore everything from expedition planning and sustainability to fitness, leadership and coaching—combining outdoor experience with expert-led sessions that get you career-ready.
This unique degree is designed for the modern coastal adventure industry.
